Clannad : The Movie

At first, I was confused watching it. The initial screens of the movie are somewhat telling a story of past and future in an over-lapping way.

The story starts with a lonely high school student (Okazaki Tomoya), then met a seemingly health-weak girl (Furukawa Nagisa) during the walk to school. Furukawa-san ask him if she could follow him for climbing the cliff (yeah, it seems the school is at a hill with lots of cherry blossoms).

Okazaki-san…. having the same dream… wearing a clown body with a lonely face… travels alone, not knowing where to go…

Its somehow sad, as one of the main character is completely under depression for the lost of his beloved girl. It’s pretty unique in someways. Despite a sad story, it managed to provide a good and touching ending.

Clannad already have  Season 1 which I haven’t watched all episodes yet.
Season 2 however (named Clannad Afterstory) is a continuation, and  Okazaki-san and Furukawa-san have a good relatioship already.By the time I was writing this, I’m still waiting for the episode 14.
