I found the culprit code. It was uploaded at a /resource/ public directory (which must be public for the images to be loaded). The criminal was able to upload php scripts which contains some code executed by eval() php function.

it is uploaded in every public directory, along with a .htaccess

the filename at the end is the same as the filename of the php code above.

Finally it also injects its code inside php scripts which can be found by searching the word ‘beajezzazbzii’

I’ve upgraded the to the latest WordPress 2.9.2 just in case.

So far, I’m able to bring back the site, but I still have to fix other directories affected by this attack.

On June 12, 2009, the AKO MISMO dog tags will be made available to the public for the very first time. The dog tags will be sold at P40 each;  the proceeds of which will go to our beneficiary charity partners and to the socio-civic activities which we will be mounting nationwide.  It is such an important event for us that we declared it the AKO MISMO DOG TAG DAY which will be  held at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field in Taguig City.  

The event will start at 2pm when we start selling the dog tags to the public.  The dog tag will be your entrance ticket to the events of the day.

From 2PM onwards,  you have the opportunity to mill around and check out the eleven charity booths we have set up, as well as other activity ! booths.

The charity booths will be distributing information about their respective causes and each of them will carry AKO MISMO T-shirts and lanyards specifically designed for the charity.  People who wish to support a particular charity should simply make a purchase there and proceeds will go towards their charity of choice. Our beneficiary charity partners are Caritas Manila, UN Stand up Against Poverty, World Vision, Dynamic Teen Company, ERDA, UP PGH Cancer Institute Foundation, Gawad Kalinga, Cutis Laxa Benefit, PNP Badge of Honor Foundation, PLDT Smart Foundation and DDB Cares.  

The venue will also have fun interactive booths: Henna Tattooing, Face Painting, Ako Kiss Mo booth, as well as photo and video booths.  There will be food and beverage booths courtesy of McDonald’s and Pep! si.&nbsp ;

From 5 to 7PM, school bands and some up and coming professional bands will perform, interspersed with videos of the different charities and live sharing from their reps. 

From 7 to 9PM, the main concert will take place featuring the hottest bands in the country: Bamboo, Pupil, The Dawn, Kamikaze, Kjwan, and Up Dharma Down. Ely will open with his hit song Sala but with lyrics specially written for  Ako Mismo. There will be a special number with all the bands performing together  to pay tribute to the late Philippine music icon Francis Magalona . 

All registered members of Ako Mismo attending the event will get a chance to win one of five Lenovo laptops and other gadgets being given away that day.  Those who have not registered yet can do so at the Ako Mismo booth. The raffle tickets are also available here. It will a have a portion that will be marked by each of the activity booths. Raffle winners who have at least three marks on their form (meaning they participated in three activities) will get limited edition premium dog tags. 

The venue can accommodate 20,000 people at most. Please do come early as the gates will be closed once the venue is full. 

Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be sold inside the venue, so there will be no food or drinks allowed upon entrance. For security reasons, people will be frisked at the entrance to check against illegal drugs and dangerous weapons.

So I looked at the net for something similar with Assembla, and luckily… I found a few

However, what worries me is that It would end-up being like the way Assembla. Not that I don’t like paying for it… I mean, really the owner must pay for the cost of hosting and maintenance of it. $2 a month is way too cheap, that I understand. But it’s just that not practical for me at all.

So my question is summarized:

 - A Project Management System which is;

• user-friendly
• can be installed on any platform – so that i won’t worry about paying of the hosting.
• ability to connect and retrieve details thru SVN
• Allows project managers to issue tickets, message, etc.
• and FREE

and so after a long while search, I found REDMINE. At first I doubting it. Especially when I looked at the requirements ans intallation process. I ‘ve gathered and read reviews about it, and found out that it’s a little bit difficult to setup, and there’s not much screenshots available. So I found myself thinking of giving up.

After a week, my boss asked me of putting up a PMS for the entire operations. I had no choice. I reviewed REDMINE again, and check for other details on how it can be setup. I’m a lazy bastard so I looked for an easier way. Luckily, I found out about BITNAMI.

BitNami Redmine Stack is an easy to use installer for Redmine, which is a flexible project management web application. Written using Ruby on Rails framework, it is cross-platform and cross-database. Its main features are:

• Feeds & email notifications.

Most colleges and high schools these days have gone hi-tech, but then it is very often you see them to have their own website. Also if they have their website, mostly likely that maintains it is the Student Council. I’m not saying that only members of this council have the right to setup something like this. Its just that, council has more privilege and power to centralize this kind of innovation, or any information. And has the responsibility to share/distribute these to all students ,and alumni-alike (pedronians).

With that in mind, I though I could find an official site of PEDHS. But I only find some.

I love PEDHS just as you, and its within my heart as well. Its just that, I’m thinking that we could improve this, so that it would look better, more accessible, and will look official for students, alumnis, and PEDHS itself.

I was thinking for PEDHS to have its own domain name, and website.

for example,

domain : www.pedhs.org (it costs around php 600 to 800/year) — I can shoulder this.
hosting : it costs around 1,200/year (I have my own hosting at eoanlabs.com) — I could provide this for FREE.
website : We could setup an exclusive wordpress-blog for easier maintenance/management. Similar to what I did with my two blog-sites (reynold-lariza.com, eoanlabs.com). We can modify the layout, and color theme if demanded.

Duties:
- Technical and IT maintenance, I could volunteer for it.
- But for contents… somebody or group could be the authors/writers, photographers.

- News and Events
- Student’s Guides
- Alumni Section
- and a lot more

Its just a proposal though, I was just thinking centralizing all PEDRONIANS in a single domain for our “Alma Mater”.
